The team had its first outing together on the impressive fields in Lancaster, Massachusetts, over Labor Day weekend. The boys got off to a solid start, winning half their games and making it to the final.
Though you can go here to get the results of the tournament (sort of), the boys and their fans will remember that semi-final game a little differently. Kasen scored to tie the game in the final minute! And then, after battling to stay alive through overtime, the boys hammered home their five penalty shots to defeat Mass Premier and go on to the final. You might say it was a sign of the season to come, pulling out that close victory.
